HGV Class 1

Responsibilities:
– Safely and efficiently operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials to designated locations
– Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
– Load and unload cargo as required
– Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working order
– Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or accidents that occur
– Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues or concerns that arise during transportation

Essentials

Essential Criteria:

• – Clean HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (category CE)
• – Minimum 1 Year commercial driving experience (at category CE)
• – Up to date CPC card
• – Up to date Digi Card

Desirable Criteria:

• – Experience in moving oversized loads preferable but not necessary
