Driver CPC Trainer – Sure Training Group Limited

Job description

We have an exciting vacancy for someone to join our team delivering Driver CPC training courses to businesses and drivers across Central Scotland (and at times beyond).

Due to the sometimes ‘ad hoc’ requirement for the training, this role is ideal for someone who is either contented with ‘part-time’ work or who is willing to commit to working around their own ‘full-time’ position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering weekend training courses, either online via our Zoom channel which can be delivered ‘from home’, in our training centres in Livingston and Glasgow, or possibly ‘onsite’ at various customer location across Scotland.

Courses normally run from 08:00 to 16:00 Saturday and Sunday, however the trainers will need to be logged on/ in the classroom from 7:30 at the very latest and will have some admin duties to complete once the course has finished for the day.

Essentials

The successful candidate will also be:

• Comfortable and confident in dealing with large classrooms and smaller groups of delegates,
• Clear, articulate and knowledgeable with technical information such as Drivers Hours and Working Time,
• Able to engage with the group and encourage participation and interaction throughout the courses,
• Excellent with managing the admin requirements of running a DVSA approved training course, including times of courses and the paperwork required for us to upload the training,
• I.T literate, due to the video formats and different packages we use to deliver the training.

What we offer:

• Daily rates between £120 and £150 per day for courses organised with an agreed radius,
• If any courses are required out-with this agreed area, then additional expenses may be paid on top of the daily rate,
• Flexible working – we will organise the additional courses around your availability for work,
• All courses will be organised by Sure and training materials will be provided by Sure.
