Class 2 Driver – Cash and Carry

Shift rotation necessary: 5 or 6 shifts weekly (In accordance with driving legalities)

Sure Recruitment Group are looking for hardworking Class 2 drivers to work with our well-known client in the Glasgow area on a full time basis.

Successful candidates will be working all over the central belt and other areas in Scotland. Manual handling involved so being physically fit would be advantageous to the role.

Duties include:

• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment (up to 15 drops per day)
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
• Maintain accurate driving logs
• Communicate with dispatch as needed
• Operating Tail-lift
• Operating Pump-Truck
• Manual Handling / Handballing

Essentials

Our Ideal Candidate

• Class 2 Licence for a minimum of 2 years with valid CPC & Digi Card
• Max of 6 points to comply with our clients insurance criteria.
• We can’t accept any major endorsements on licence such as DR’s & CD’s.

Working Hours & Pay

• 10 -15 hour shifts starting 0630am
• Earning potential over £750 per week (if working 11 hours over a 5 day week)
